‘Two and a Half Men’ star’s marriage becomes a one man show

After six years of marriage, it was announced late yesterday that actress Demi Moore is filing for divorce from her husband; ‘Two and a Half Men’ star Ashton Kutcher.
‘Ghost’ actress Demi, 49, released a statement yesterday saying: ‘It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year-marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life’. It is reported that the actress is subtly referring to allegations of cheating that have recently surfaced about her soon to be ex-husband Kutcher. It is claimed that he cheated on her with a 22-year-old woman named Sara Leal in a San Diego hotel room on their sixth wedding anniversary this year.
Kutcher, 33, later tweeted his strange reaction to his marriage ending: ‘I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK’.
The pair has been responsible for a surge in Twitter users over the last year or so, with Kutcher being one of the first big name celebrities to join Twitter – between them they have almost 15 million followers on the social networking site. It is yet unclear how their estimated fortune of $290 million will be divided. Ironically, Demi has still not changed her Twitter username, which is still ‘@mrskutcher’.
