GTI fashion students put on a live modelling session in Anthony Ryan’s shop window on Shop street today.
The backdrop for the set was designed by the students of the Fashion Buying, Styling & Visual Merchandising course and the dresses by the Fashion Design and Dressmaking students.
The event is part of the GTI Fashion Showcase, which opened on the 27th with an exhibition at BORN, which can be viewed until next Wednesday. The showcase is concluding on Thursday 6th of April with 40 models wearing this creations will take part in the Fashion walk from GTI to Cara Pharmacy and Edward Square via the Spanish Arch.
The window came to life between 12 and 5pm this Thursday, the 30th March. The live session was accompanied by a charity street collection by fashion students for Galway Hospice.
The dresses were modelled by Emily Lohan (left) and Blaithín Kelly (right).
