Daniel Allen of Molly Road, Enniskillen has appeared in court this morning charged with the murder of four people, including two teenagers and an infant child.

The 27-year old appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates Court charged in connection with a fire which broke out at an isolated house on Molly Road on the morning of 27th February.

Although yet to be formally identified, those who perished in the fire are believed to be a mother and her two teenage children, along with an eighteen-month-old child.

The infant is said to have been the daughter of one of the teenage deceased.

Mr. Allen, also with an address on Molly Road, was arrested at the scene of the fire and taken to hospital for treatment. He was then brought to Enniskillen Garda Station, where he was questioned and consequently charged with murder. He was also charged with arson.

The accused did not post for bail, and is due back in court via video-link in three weeks time.

The family are believed to be from Doncaster, England, but have a previous address in Tralee, County Kerry. They are thought to have moved to the Enniskillen area last year.
