Labelled “tie of the round” when the draw was made, Paris Saint Germain host Real Madrid in the second leg in the Champions League round of sixteen on Tuesday.
The Ligue 1 leaders suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Los Blancos at the Bernabéu on Valentines Day in the first leg. €222-million man Neymar is a notable absentee for Unai Emery’s side after injuring his metatarsal in a victory vs Marseille.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping to add to his current tally of eleven goals for the reigning champions, however it would be no surprise if Zinedine Zidane’s side set up defensively to combat the attacking flair of teenage star Kylian Mbappé and Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani.
Kick off is at 7:45 pm and will be live on TV3 and BT Sport.
In the other tie of the round, Porto travels to Anfield to face Jürgen Klopp’s in-form Reds.
This tie is more or less over as Sadio Mané’s hat-trick aided a 5-0 hammering of the Premeira Liga leaders.
It will be interesting to see Klopp’s selection as a visit to Old Trafford is on the horizon. The German has kept a policy of rotation throughout the season, and will more than likely do so again.
Sérgio Conceição’s side will be without Alex Telles, Moussa Marega and Tiquinho Soares, while midfielder Danilo Pereira remains absent. However, Vincent Aboubakar played twenty minutes in the derby win vs Sporting Lisbon on Saturday last.
Kick Off is also at 7:45 pm and will be live on BT Sport 3.
