Katie Taylor is set for a fight against ‘Hell’s Baby’ Koleva in her latest outing on the English stage in Manchester on March 25th.
The fight is on the undercard of the lightweight rematch between Jorge Linares and Anthony Crolla.
Taylor saw off Italian Monica Gentili comfortably, last time out at the O2 arena in London. The Bray woman has had a 63 percent knockout rate to date clocking up three victories in that time.
Fellow Irish boxer Michael Conlon is making his pro debut on St Patrick’s day, it is believed that Taylor would love to be at the fight in Madison Square Garden, but unfortunately for Katie, she is gearing up for her next fight at a training camp in Connecticut that day. Taylor was due to fight Koleva at the O2 a few weeks ago, but she fell ill prior to the fight.
The Bulgarian has won 9 of her 17 fights to date at the Elite level, as Taylor aims to keep her unblemished record on the professional stage.
